TEACHING

Eddie has over 7 years of private and clinician experience, having ran clarinet and saxophone studios in State College, PA, Ann Arbor, MI, and Aspen, CO. Eddie has held clinics and masterclasses for high schools in Michigan (including Grammy-Nominated Huron High School) and has given presentations at festivals both regionally and internationally, most notably at the Thy Chamber Music Festival in Aalborg, Denmark.

As a teacher, Eddie encourages creative problem-solving and self-sufficiency in students’ quests to become both better musicians and effective thinkers. He believes in the power of active, critical listening to establish a strong sense of musicianship across many genres and styles, including classical, jazz, and other modern styles of music.
